Any ideas?

I love the Internet, its like window-shopping without dealing with queues, dodgy weather and resisting the temptation to walk away from my favourites shops with purchases gripped in my hands. As I love creating lists, its great to way to just find things that I can add to my wish list.  

I spotted these shoes (pictured above) from the House of Harlow range ( created by Nicole Richie). These shoes are definitely top of the list, unfortunately at $225 they are way out of my budget. I love the design with the chunkier heel and peep toe.  While I can't buy them, it did make me think about a pair of shoes in my wardrobe that I got a couple of years ago from Matalan.  A similar style, the reason I bought them was that they reminded me of shoes from the 1940s and I love the contrasting details of suede and snakeskin on the heels.  The only problem with the shoes, is the fact that I haven't been able to pull together a great outfit to show them off - has anyone got any suggestions?

I actually prefer your shoes, I would wear them with a knee length vintage dress and thick grey rib tights -ok maybe I would do that in Autumn not summer ;-)

Today, I was 'spotted on the street', well I suppose you could say spotted in the mirror! I've been meaning to do a post on the boots I own but just haven't got round to doing one yet.  So today, as I've started walking to work due to my car being very poorly. The need to get my dogs Jasper and Harvey to and from doggy-day care (my mum's but didn't it just for one second sound like I was Paris Hilton!) means I needed some boots that were made for walking. where do I start?

I've been neglecting my blog for the past few weeks while I've been suffering from a horrible chest infection.  I've just not had the energy to research shoes and window shop the latest that the high street has to offer. So now I'm dosing up on medicine and determined to get myself back on track. To help kick start my research, I've treated myself to some magazines, including the latest InStyle magazine, with the fabulous Dannii Minogue gracing the front cover. She is one of my favourite style crushes, especially after last year's X Factor.  In my humble opinion, she definitely won the X-Factor fashion crown! In the Style Candy section, they've listed a lovely pair of shoes available at asos.com that meet the nude trend while tickling your fancy with a feather embellishment. Shoe of the week

Shoe of the week . . . Really? For the current weather we are experiencing, I should be nominating a pair of waders of the week!  With May apparently going to be the wettest month this year, a pair of wellingtons rather than a great pair of heels is what you need.  But why should they be boring. These wellies from Funky Wellingtons should be enough to brighten any dismal day. Got to protect those paws I can't forget my four-legged friends during the wet weather, our dogs still need to get outside and exercise but it doesn't mean they are waterproof!  So, a set of boots for dogs would be perfect to ensure those lower to the ground are protected from the cold too!.
