Shoe of the week

Image
Over the years, I've bought a lot of shoes but I've not found a black shoe for summer that fits what I want. I still want a shoe with a heel, a bit of space for my toes to feel the sun that also gives me a fashion fix. These shoes from JustFab fit the bill perfectly.

Feeling a bit flat

I've haven't been blogging much, as I have been trying to balance full-time work and my part-time PR course. Unfortunately, I think lack of work, life and balance has caused a rather painful stress/allergic reaction on my feet and I am currently living in these flat pumps from George. Wish I had realised something wasn't right before a trip London mid week, when I wore these classic heels. Trying to navigate the underground and crowds at Euston station weren't ideal conditions for what can only be described as the feeling of having hot, sharp stones in my shoes. Thank goodness nude shoes go with everything! Fingers (or should it be toes) crossed that I will be walking in high heels soon. I do feel the need for someone to design some fashionable slippers that could pass as shoes for the office right now.

Time to celebrate #1

I haven't been blogging much over the past couple of months as the research work on my college course has really increased. So, it's been a great relief to find out that my hard work is paying off, as I found out on Thursday that I have passed my first assignment. So this weekend, I have celebrated with a glass of cheap rose and am continuing with my studies. Will be back blogging soon!xx photo credit: Creativity+ Timothy K Hamilton via photopin cc

Shoe of the week

My husband and I have been discussing the pros and cons of booking a holiday to New York for 2014. Obviously the pros are the shopping, the buildings, cocktails, the deli's and a chance to sit on Carrie Bradshaw's brownstone step . The cons are the current economic climate, money and getting passports renewed, etc. To make a serious decision, I need to stop dreaming about watching down 5th Avenue 'Carrie' style carrying shopping bags and wearing these heels from ASOS!
