Shoe of the week

Image
Inspired by the sunny bank holiday weekend we are having in Blackpool, I've searched for a shoe that reflects the warmest of weather.  Introducing Chrissie from Kurt Geiger.  She is ticking all the fashion boxes: orange, heels, Mary Jane detailing . . .  what more can I say? It looks like a lot of people are in agreement as the sizes are starting to sell out!

Shoe, Camera, Action

In an attempt to de-clutter my life, I am taking stock of my shoe collection and selling some on Ebay.  I think I might be getting a bit carried away with my product shots.  I'm making my shoes look to good to sell :(

Shoes in the News

Image
Thanks to my Samsung camera's little box of tricks I've managed to get a great image for 'Shoes in the News' posts. So, just a quick little post to kick-start the 'Shoes in the News' posts.   According to this article in the Daily Mail, a woman only needs five types of shoes to fulfil her shoes needs! Now, firstly the five choices in the article aren't that great and five? Just five shoes to meet all your fashion needs? Really? What about a sensible pair of flats? Summer sandals?  The essential nude heels?  A pair of wedges? A pair of biker boots?  Ankle boots? Shoe boots? Red heels? Black courts?  Platform heels? hot pink shoes, yellow shoes . . . Forget five shoes, make it 105 shoes, don't forget a woman can never have too many shoes. The article also states that the average women owns 20 pairs of shoes. As I own more that 20 shoes this definitely makes me above average! I would even say it makes me shoe-tastic!  What's your shoe limit?

A slice of vintage

Just a couple of new pictures taken with my amazing Samsung smart camera.  I used my vintage bouquet as a still life study.  My camera skills are definitely improving!

Shoe of the week

Late posting, amazing shoes! Runway heels, Balenciaga, python and suede, plum colour, killer heels, amazing price, now that's what I call a shoe of the week.  Forget the best things come in small packages,  great things come in shoe boxes!

Second time around

I was going to call this post Adventures in EBay Selling, but realised that the majority of my blog readers, let alone the majority of the world will be already experienced in the wonderful world of selling your worldly goods via EBay.  So, I won't bore you with the details on my second, more successful attempt at 'Ebay-ing', my first attempt failed over an unsuccessful bidding war for a vintage hat box (I'm too polite to haggle). I'm a bit of a late bloomer in most aspects of life: left home on my 30th birthday, only got my first mobile phone when I was 27 and I won't tell you the age I was when I got my first kiss! So here I am, an EBay newbie, nearly eight years after EBay first made a sale. I've also noticed that I have an obsession with characters Nicholas Cage has played; for blogging I am Cameron Poe . . .  for EBay I am Caster Troy . . . now I definitely need to find a media platform where I can use Big Daddy !  My EBay account is now open for
