Shoe of the week

So, we are just over two weeks away from the Royal Wedding, Kate and Wills have performed their last public engagement before they say 'I do' in front of a world-wide audience of millions, and I'm assuming that people are making plans to celebrate the wedding and the public holiday.

These shoes are the closest I could get  to red, white and blue shoes for the royal occasion. Currently featured on the M&S Spring advert and modelled by Lisa Snowden, this are the perfect shoes for the celebrations, whether you're attending the church or a street party, you'll definitely be in style!

I just saw such a beautiful pair of rope wedges in Browns on South Moltan St....£130!!!! I looked, I touched, I left.....this afternoon they were gone!!

LOVE these shoes, especially the woven platform and heel. I can't wait for the royal wedding! I'm throwing a mini party here and will stay up all night watching it live on the BBC. :) You're so luck you're British!!

Aren't they lovely! They've sold out online so lots of ladies might be wearing these during the summer months. I am actually looking forward to the wedding if only to see what dress Kate wears! xx

Today, I was 'spotted on the street', well I suppose you could say spotted in the mirror! I've been meaning to do a post on the boots I own but just haven't got round to doing one yet.  So today, as I've started walking to work due to my car being very poorly. The need to get my dogs Jasper and Harvey to and from doggy-day care (my mum's but didn't it just for one second sound like I was Paris Hilton!) means I needed some boots that were made for walking. where do I start?

I've been neglecting my blog for the past few weeks while I've been suffering from a horrible chest infection.  I've just not had the energy to research shoes and window shop the latest that the high street has to offer. So now I'm dosing up on medicine and determined to get myself back on track. To help kick start my research, I've treated myself to some magazines, including the latest InStyle magazine, with the fabulous Dannii Minogue gracing the front cover. She is one of my favourite style crushes, especially after last year's X Factor.  In my humble opinion, she definitely won the X-Factor fashion crown! In the Style Candy section, they've listed a lovely pair of shoes available at asos.com that meet the nude trend while tickling your fancy with a feather embellishment. Goodbye 2010

As the door to one year closes, another opens Well 2010 is coming to a close.  It's been a mixed bag of a year: a new government in place, Royal Wedding announcements and the plight on miners trapped underground gripped the world.  For me, there were two significant milestones - my first wedding anniversary and the first year since my sister underwent treatment for cancer with an all-clear (we will have five years of these yearly milestones to go through).  In addition, one of my best friends had her first baby and my cousin got engaged on Christmas Day so we have had a couple of great events, which has made a real change from the last couple of years! This has also been my first year as a blogger, so I wanted to say thank your for popping by my blog, leaving comments and all your support.  I've really enjoyed blogging and hope to continue developing my blog in the year to come.
