I'm wild about shoes



My husband recently mentioned my love of shoes and suggested that 'perhaps I had too many'!  So it made me think (or at least panic that he had discovered my secret stash of shoes) do I have too many shoes?

So I considered this logically:

  • I don't have a pair of shoes in every colour of the rainbow; 
  • I don't own a pair of Jimmy Choo;
  • I need to find a pair of monochrome shoe; and 
  • the  hot pink shoes to replace the ones my dog ate have not been bought yet.  
So my conclusion is . . .  that no, I don't have too many shoes. There is still a place in my wardrobe heart to welcome more shoes to my collection.  You can tell a lot of research and consideration has been undertaken to form this conclusion!

You probably noticed from my previous posts that I am a sucker for heels.  Yes, flats are pretty, short-heeled boots are practical and that in the past few years a pair of Uggs have even been purchased. But the majority of my shoes, when worn, increase my height by a good two inches or more.

So, I am always going to be on the lookout for more heels.  A shoe outlet on my retail-radar is Wildpair who have a fabulous collection of shoes to choose from.  They even have a great blog where you can keep posted on their shoes 'news' and be inspired.



With heels on my mind, I found some shoes [pictured] that I really want, there is even a pair that I want in the three neon colours available - I'm thinking about shoes in every colour of the rainbow, and more, being something I need to aspire to!

So take a look and see if there is are any heels for you to go wild about too.

After my husband got to 200 he did in deed decide I had far too many shoes! However I still don't have in my humble opinion.

Spotted on the street

Today, I was 'spotted on the street', well I suppose you could say spotted in the mirror! I've been meaning to do a post on the boots I own but just haven't got round to doing one yet.  So today, as I've started walking to work due to my car being very poorly. The need to get my dogs Jasper and Harvey to and from doggy-day care (my mum's but didn't it just for one second sound like I was Paris Hilton!) means I needed some boots that were made for walking. where do I start?

I've been neglecting my blog for the past few weeks while I've been suffering from a horrible chest infection.  I've just not had the energy to research shoes and window shop the latest that the high street has to offer. So now I'm dosing up on medicine and determined to get myself back on track. To help kick start my research, I've treated myself to some magazines, including the latest InStyle magazine, with the fabulous Dannii Minogue gracing the front cover. She is one of my favourite style crushes, especially after last year's X Factor.  In my humble opinion, she definitely won the X-Factor fashion crown! In the Style Candy section, they've listed a lovely pair of shoes available at asos.com that meet the nude trend while tickling your fancy with a feather embellishment. Goodbye 2010

As the door to one year closes, another opens Well 2010 is coming to a close.  It's been a mixed bag of a year: a new government in place, Royal Wedding announcements and the plight on miners trapped underground gripped the world.  For me, there were two significant milestones - my first wedding anniversary and the first year since my sister underwent treatment for cancer with an all-clear (we will have five years of these yearly milestones to go through).  In addition, one of my best friends had her first baby and my cousin got engaged on Christmas Day so we have had a couple of great events, which has made a real change from the last couple of years!
