Hitting the sales
I can honestly say that I've really resisted the sales shopping this Christmas and January. I have checked out a couple of websites (shoe shops of course!) but not really been tempted to spend.
However, I succumbed to temptation and made a purchase. I do have to say that this is an investment piece. I researched reviews and selected a more expensive piece rather than opt for the cheaper product with less than glowing reports. I've gone for classic monochrome that will be timeless, season upon season.
So have I made you eager to see my purchase? Well here it is -
I bought a iron! Not just any iron but a Bosch Steam Station. I've spent £100 pounds on an iron! My old iron was basically exhausted after nine loyal years of service. Apparently my new iron is the perfect accessory for budding domestic goddess with ironing time reduced by 50%, providing more time to whip up a cake, dust or my personal favourite browse blogs or websites.
To be honest, it is rather good but quite bulky so I'm not sure where I'm going to store it. I'm also a bit concerned that my ironing board and cover don't really match up to standard, I need to get accessorizing my new purchase.
