School Reunions - is it a do or a don't?

My senior school reunion is being arranged.  It's been nearly 25 years since I left and I'm not sure if I want to go back 'there'.

Am I a success or failure? Do I want to be judged by people who I last saw when perms were in, Rick Astley was still in the charts and Farah pants were the uniform essentials.

Maybe I'm thinking too much into it and should just go and enjoy a blast from the past. So I'm using YouTube to get inspired for the event.

Perhaps, I'll be like Romy and Michele from Romy and Michele's High School Reunion and pretend to be an amazing success at inventing something like the post-it note or just wear something shiny and dance to an eighties tune - suggestions anyone?

Maybe I'm just worrying about about time just catching up with me . . .

I didn't go to my 10 year...I figure everyone would just be going to judge everyone else. Is there any other reason high school reunions were invented? LOL. I do like your Romy and Michele idea, though. :)

Honestly, I'm not convinced my school would ever do one, but if they did I wouldn't go back - If there was anyone from school I wanted to keep in touch with, I have done.
You must go and have fun and wear a great pair of shoes!

I left Sixth Form in 1984 and have missed every subsequent reunion as they are always held during the Glastonbury weekend. I went to an All girls' Grammar and although my class mates were nice enough I didn't really fit in with most of them. I've stayed in touch with the girls I got on with but Facebook's good enough for the others! x

Go! The experience will be fascinating. I went to my class's 40th. I didn't recognise anybody but thankfully some remembered me! Mind you, I spent an hour in a bar at a stranger's engagement party before I realised I was in the wrong room! Enjoy!
