I'm organised - are you?


Finally I've sorted out my wardrobe, with the excuse that I need to get organised for the colder months.  So pictured, is my now pristine wardrobe.  Summer items have been packed away, future car boot sales products have been registered, winter boots have been brought out of hibernation  . . .

Then what happens! The great British Weather decides to have some sort of a mini Indian Summer/heat wave.  Now I have pulled together my capsule working wardrobe, re-heeled my court shoes and dug out the opaque tights, the sun finally decides to appear.  Note to sun - where exactly have you been since July?

I have been sat in my office today when its 29.5c and someone has been wearing white linen pants and wedges!  This really means that I need to step up my plan to convert the attic into dressing room so that all my clothes are easily accessible for any season or weather condition (to be honest though, I really need to work on my outfits for snow days).

How is the weather for you? Are you dressed for it?

PS I have been good and only bought a couple of minor additions to my clothes for the next few months.  For the first time ever, I've properly been monitoring the trends with the help of the style Bloggers I follow, their posts have been amazing and worth checking out, links to the blogs I follow are on the front page of my blog.

Hi my dear-your wardrobe looks lovely and very neat! Yes, what I do is look at the trends from Vogue and Elle and try and thrift for styles that work for me, then at least if I go off the item I haven't invested loads of money! x

Wow, that is one organized closet! I hate it, though, when you pack away clothes cause the season is ending and it just lingers longer, making all your packing for naught. It's very hot here right now, unseasonably hot I'd say, and I haven't yet packed away my sundresses because I'm still wearing them!

Claudia - It does feel like a ritual, packing away the wardrobe and saying goodbye to the season. How lucky to be wearing summer clothes still in October!

Today, I was 'spotted on the street', well I suppose you could say spotted in the mirror! I've been meaning to do a post on the boots I own but just haven't got round to doing one yet.  So today, as I've started walking to work due to my car being very poorly. The need to get my dogs Jasper and Harvey to and from doggy-day care (my mum's but didn't it just for one second sound like I was Paris Hilton!) means I needed some boots that were made for walking. where do I start?

I've been neglecting my blog for the past few weeks while I've been suffering from a horrible chest infection.  I've just not had the energy to research shoes and window shop the latest that the high street has to offer. So now I'm dosing up on medicine and determined to get myself back on track. To help kick start my research, I've treated myself to some magazines, including the latest InStyle magazine, with the fabulous Dannii Minogue gracing the front cover. She is one of my favourite style crushes, especially after last year's X Factor.  In my humble opinion, she definitely won the X-Factor fashion crown! In the Style Candy section, they've listed a lovely pair of shoes available at asos.com that meet the nude trend while tickling your fancy with a feather embellishment. Goodbye 2010

As the door to one year closes, another opens Well 2010 is coming to a close.  It's been a mixed bag of a year: a new government in place, Royal Wedding announcements and the plight on miners trapped underground gripped the world.  For me, there were two significant milestones - my first wedding anniversary and the first year since my sister underwent treatment for cancer with an all-clear (we will have five years of these yearly milestones to go through).  In addition, one of my best friends had her first baby and my cousin got engaged on Christmas Day so we have had a couple of great events, which has made a real change from the last couple of years!
