Countdown to being fabulous

I'm soo excited, well I can imagine so are a lot of ladies! The Sex and the City 2 premiere was held in NYC and of course our four ladies looked absolutely gorgeous, with SJP leading the way in a beautiful yellow Valentino gown. Unfortunately Liza Minnelli looked like a fashion disaster on the red carpet but I'm sure she'll make up for it in the film with her rendition of 'All the Single Ladies'.

Just for the record, whilst Aiden walks back into Carrie's life (in a Moroccan Souk, how to live life the SATC way?!) I have always been a fan of Big, he is quite simply the man.

Whilst everyone, no doubt, will be rushing to the cinema this weekend, I will wait a week to avoid the crush. I just don't think my high heels could take it. xx

The only reason I want to see the movie is to see Wendy Brandes' earrings. Otherwise I am not really interested. But I do love shoes.;-)

I can see what you mean, people either love it or hate SATC. I'm looking forward to the film but have heard a rumour that they might make a third. I'm just not sure that another film is a good idea, eventually the stories will not be a great as the original, the gloss will start to fade . . .
PS I think it is so exciting that someone you know has created something that will be in a film! (sorry, I am a bit of a film geek)

Today, I was 'spotted on the street', well I suppose you could say spotted in the mirror! I've been meaning to do a post on the boots I own but just haven't got round to doing one yet.  So today, as I've started walking to work due to my car being very poorly. The need to get my dogs Jasper and Harvey to and from doggy-day care (my mum's but didn't it just for one second sound like I was Paris Hilton!) means I needed some boots that were made for walking. I usually buy a pair of boots every couple of years, I like to try and find a boot with some detailing that could resemble the vintage footwear like buckles or button detailing.  This pair were one of my last boot purchases bought from Barratts, for around £70, in December 2008 for my planned wedding and honeymoon in Vegas and San Francisco.  Funny story though, I thought I would save these boots for the holidays and choose to leave them in the box untouched until March when I'd be jettin...

where do I start?

I've been neglecting my blog for the past few weeks while I've been suffering from a horrible chest infection.  I've just not had the energy to research shoes and window shop the latest that the high street has to offer. So now I'm dosing up on medicine and determined to get myself back on track. To help kick start my research, I've treated myself to some magazines, including the latest InStyle magazine, with the fabulous Dannii Minogue gracing the front cover. She is one of my favourite style crushes, especially after last year's X Factor.  In my humble opinion, she definitely won the X-Factor fashion crown! In the Style Candy section, they've listed a lovely pair of shoes available at asos.com that meet the nude trend while tickling your fancy with a feather embellishment. Goodbye 2010

As the door to one year closes, another opens Well 2010 is coming to a close.  It's been a mixed bag of a year: a new government in place, Royal Wedding announcements and the plight on miners trapped underground gripped the world.  For me, there were two significant milestones - my first wedding anniversary and the first year since my sister underwent treatment for cancer with an all-clear (we will have five years of these yearly milestones to go through).  In addition, one of my best friends had her first baby and my cousin got engaged on Christmas Day so we have had a couple of great events, which has made a real change from the last couple of years! This has also been my first year as a blogger, so I wanted to say thank your for popping by my blog, leaving comments and all your support.  I've really enjoyed blogging and hope to continue developing my blog in the year to come.
