I have too many shoes

Fit for a Fashion Queen It seem apt to find a UK designer for this week's shoe and perfect that in a week leading up to a Royal Wedding, that this shoe is by Alexander McQueen. While the price could only be afforded by Leaders of small countries, the design and beauty of the shoe means that it could easily fit into a regal parlour as a work of art alongside portraits of former Kings and Queens.  The Gold painted resin make the Iris platform shoe, 'the crown jewels' of any shoe collection!

Congratulations to Tamara Mellon who has been awarded an OBE for services to the fashion industry. I love her outfit for the Palace but to be honest I'd have made her a Dame for creating Jimmy Choo!  Now I wonder if the Queen has a pair of Jimmy Choos stashed in a wardrobe at Buckingham Palace?
