Shoe of the week

The classic stiletto, simple yet so sexy.   Searched for a hot pink pair after seeing Davina McCall rocking a fab pair of 'stillies' with a glorious neon outfit.  Found these at Shoe Candy for your viewing pleasure.  Enjoy!

I'm a little bit jealous . . .

I've quite proud of myself, I've not bought any shoes for quite a few months now and its given me a chance to give some of my neglected shoes an airing.  This should give me more value for money ie number of wears against cost but I've started to get that feeling that I need a new acquisition to my collection!  This has increased since my sister  Tara showed me her new purchase from River Island.  I'm quite jealous; these fit the nude trend this season and I've yet to find my perfect pair of nude shoes on the high street. Then, with just a change of accessories - statement jewellery, a hot pair of heels or a gorgeous clutch - a fabulous outfit can be created, time and time again. One of the latest acquisitions to my shoe collection is a pair of hot pink suede heels from the Luxe Collection by Dorothy Perkins (another Christmas present from my husband - aren't I a lucky girl). The LBD is a perfect compliment to these shoes; they really finish a classic outfit.

My dog loves shoes too!

I have a six year old Jack Russell - Jasper - who shows a healthy respect for my shoes but that wasn't always the case! At less than a year old, he managed to customise my pair of hot pink 4" heels. Unfortunately the custom job meant that one shoe had suffered a number of holes created by puppy teeth whilst the other shoe remained perfect and intact. No amount of sticky tape or glue would restore them to the gorgeous fuchsia originality. Unfortunately those shoes were sent to shoe heaven and I learnt my lesson: all future shoes are boxed and placed far higher than his little legs can take him! Unfortunately these precautions did not cover my ghds that also suffered the same fate:(
