Bring on the summer! There is something about this time of year, when you can finally shed the tights or socks, release those toes and pack away your boots.  It's time to put some fun back into your shoe collection, whether its a bit of sparkle or a pair of shoes with a feathery touch added.  These would be perfect for the May Bank Holiday weekend.

The Christmas Shoes

I would love to say that I got some new shoes this Christmas, but after receiving a pair for my birthday in November and winning a pair from Schuh just before Christmas, I think I have had enough shoes for 2013!  My niece, however, is building up her shoe collection with these two Christmas additions - cute Topshop shoes and glittery Vans.

#How lush are these Rose metallic heels from TopShop.  The Grizzly Studded Courts? Nothing furry about these 4" heels.  I can't think of any more words to add, these shoes speak for themselves.

I just love these shoes from Topshop.  Cobalt blue, chunky heels, platform and a cute bow, what more could a girl wish for?

With a nod to one of my favourite programmes - Spartacus:War of the Damned -  I'm nominating these gorgeous toffee coloured Spartacus Gladiator platforms for shoe of the week.  These would definitely be fashionable around the Forum.

I've chosen  Chloe Green's debut shoe collection for Topshop for this week's shoe .  Each shoe will have her signature green sole and I like the colour palette she's chosen for the shoes. The collection's perfect for the Topshop customer: young, hip and high! The full collection can be seen here .  Unfortunately this pair of shoes has already sold out!  However if you follow Topshop via Facebook and Twitter you'll be able to find out when they are back in stock.

Where did our summer go? I've only got chance to wear my sandals for a couple of days this year.  So now I'm packing them away and preparing for the colder months which have already started here in Blackpool.   Wet and windy are the only words I can use to describe the weather over the past week.  So I need a shoe that keeps me high above ground and able to skip over the puddles. These Topshop lovelies will do the trick.

These shoes would be my nod to the pastel trend this year.  #justsaying

Now these fabulous topshop boots are definitely moving to the top of my birthday list.  I know its still a couple of months till Christmas but I think anything with a bit of sparkle or a hint of gold will definitely be a hit this year, well for me it definitely will.  I totally agree with Top Shop about this boots, they made me go WOW too.

These shoes from Topshop just caught my eye during my weekly research for the shoe of the week. The shoe is called Glacier, seems a bit of a strange name considering how hot the shoe looks.  Which makes me wonder what the decision-making is behind a shoe's name and whether anyone takes notice of it when purchasing high street shoes.  I must admit I used to like browsing the Faith site and checking out the shoes named Betty, Muriel and Florence but I can honestly say I don't take much notice of what my shoes are actually called but I will do for future purchases. The Glacier shoe is also available in purple and black but the mustard would definitely be my first choice.

True Blue baby I love you This week's shoe is courtesy of Topshop.  This shoe has that mix of 1940's glamour meeting this Spring/Summer's need for brights.  Suitable for a fashionista or a vintage lover, easily complementing that perfect dress or sexy skinny jeans.

The perfect shoes for the party season Now perhaps for the next couple of weeks (is it around six?) I should really rename this post Dear Santa just so the big man in red, who likes snow, takes the hint! So here it is, Dear Santa, I have been very very good this year, all I want for Christmas is . . . These sparkly heels from Topshop, just the ticket for all diary commitments this Christmas.  They're neither silver or gold, but multi-coloured, perfect for catching the lights when dancing to  Santa Baby.  Currently priced at £62.  I can just picture myself wearing an LBD, these sparkly heels and a glass of Baileys standing by my Christmas Tree waiting for the turkey to cook.  Santa or Topshop, make my dreams come true xx Clare aged 38 and 3/4
