My husband continues on his quest to ensure that I have sensible footwear for our New York trip.  He researched and found these converse bargains for me at Office, clicked and bought.  I have trained him well!

Shoe of the week

I hope you are enjoying a Sunny Bank Holiday weekend wherever you are. Its bright and breezy in Blackpool, not quite ready for sunbathing yet but just right to do a bit of Internet research for shoe of the week.  Irregular Choice are the 'go to' choice when you want a shoe that's a bit different and stands out in the crowd.  I think these Love Dove shoes do this perfectly, don't you?

Hopefully all are you are enjoying the Great British Summer (finally!).  With the sun comes the excuse to dig out the BBQ. Obviously wearing your best Louboutins or a pair of platform wedges isn't ideal, from a health and safety point of view, if you're in charge of cooking the bangers! So invest in some Toms , so your shoes, while practical, are as sparkling as your afternoon wine spritzer!

I need to take these shoes to the 'dorm! As my friends are jetting off in a couple of weeks to Benidorm, I'd thought I would search for a shoe that would be the perfect accessory for a weekend away in the sun.  These Kiss Me Quick heels from Office even have the right name for a spending time in a seaside resort and I'm sure they'll be guaranteed more sun in the 'dorm than in Blackpool. Perfect weather for peep-toes!

Its four weeks till my 40th birthday, so I am still on the hunt for a perfect pair of party shoes.  These gold and mesh shoes from Office  would be fabulous, I just need to track down the perfect dress . . .

Get me to the 'Office'

Office knows that January can be a long month that many of us struggle with. To provide light at the end of the tunnel they are currently have an up to £50 off boots promotion, not to mention up to 75% sales to take a nosy through! Go on, what are you waiting for? The choices for my basket would be: Minky Linky Leopard at £39.00 I'm sure these would help me find my inner rock-chick! These boots would be a great alternative to my Uggs that I feel I've been living in for the past few months due to the not-so-Great British weather!

Now as this is panto season, my shoe of the week is dedicated to Cinderella to give her an update on the glass slipper.  These Office shoes  are for the modern-day Cinderella. This princess-in-the-making will set her own destiny and won't be waiting for her Prince to find her, she'll be seeking him out whether its on a speed dating night or posting a message on Facebook!  If she's leaving the ball at Midnight its not because her carriage will turn into a pumkpkin, oh no, her faithful carriageman or black cab driver named Bob is whisking her off to another glamourous party when she'll be hitting the dance floor till dawn breaks.  Just what will the Ugly Sisters say! PS In my role as Fairy Godmother, I did do a search for Glass Slippers but my results turned up more shoes suited for lap-dancing than a Royal Ball!

This week, I nominate these burgundy mid heels from Office  priced at £67.  The colour is gorgeous and has my favourite design details - patent & buckles.  I'm guilty of forgetting that Office is on the high street, but its been around since 1981.  I'm glad that I can reignite my love for this shoe shop chain.  The website isn't that attractive but I do like the option to view your shoe in the other colours available, although it does make you spoiled for choice. If you sign up for their free newsletter you'll be entered into their free monthly drawer for £100 worth of vouchers.  If I win (chance would be a fine thing) then these shoes would be straight in my online basket!
