Shoe of the week

This post has been scheduled for Sunday while I am recovering from a hangover following a 40th birthday celebration at many bars along Blackpool's golden mile. What could be better for a hangover cure than feasting my eyes on these lovely Louboutins available at Cricket.

Wedding outfit basics

I haven't had chance to wear my lovely Louboutins yet, but my cousin is getting married in September, so you can bet that my outfit plan will start with these red-soled lovelies! I've decided to continue with the bold colours for the outfit and pick up this fabulous green dress as an outfit inspiration. It was only 12 pounds from Primarni and I don't think the quality of the material will withstand a full day and night of partying.  But its a good starting point for finding or making the perfect dress for those LBs!

I chose to make a 'statement'

This post has been long overdue . . . I'm still struggling with feeling creative, I seriously need something to revitalise my mojo for blogging.  For this post I kept thinking of a post title like Just a splash of red or they had me at hello but if I don't post something today, I could be still here pondering my thoughts and not placing them in print by my next birthday! So here it is, a brief introduction to my Louboutins. Back in November, I celebrated my 40th birthday.  I must stress that I celebrated and did not commiserate my fourth decade of existence.  I spent a weekend in Liverpool where I enjoyed Tapas, shopping, cocktails, 80s retro bars (well really a strange basement bar, near the Cavern, where I got the chance to dance to Chesney Hawkes without derision) and reducing the multi-cultural divide with a number of people from the Scandinavia who were visiting for that weekend's Liverpool game.  Unfortunately at the point when three gentlemen fro...

Shoe of the week

As of today, it is officially 40 days (and nights) until my fortieth birthday, so for the next few weeks I will be dedicating my shoe of the week posts to the shoes I would like to see wrapped up in a bow on my birthday. Although I know that I probably won't be getting loads of expensive designer shoes bought for me, I might as well aim high with my wish list! These shoes have been a previous nomination for shoe of the week and I definitely have Bibi-fever for these Louboutins .  In fact, if I'm lucky I may be purchasing a pair on my birthday so I'll keep you posted. x

Shoes in the news

How fabulous are these 8 inch Louboutin shoes created to raise funds for the English National Ballet. I wonder who's bought them in the silent auction and whether they are going to wear them! I bet Mrs Beckham might have put a cheeky bid in.

Fit for a princess

Like the rest of the nation, I was glued to the TV this morning to watch the Royal Wedding.  While I had planned to do something else instead, I just could not resist temptation to watch the proceedings! I can bet any money that a number of ladies were watching the bride and guests for some outfit ideas for their weddings or Summer events.  Obviously there was a lot of speculation and discussion over Mrs Beckham's outfit for the big event. But my, those specially customised Christian Louboutin, while glorious, must still be an endurance test for a mum-to-be to wear all-day! Now, to celebrate the Royal occasion, Redfoot  have released the  limited edition   Princess shoe . As with all Redfoot shoes, the Princess is made with a patented split-sole. It is hardwearing and durable, yet folds completely in half, making it the perfect accessory for any bride who doesn’t want aching feet to ruin her big day - or anyone simply wanting to celebrate the weddin...

Some girls have all the luck!

How lucky is Blake Lively! Not only does she have a Louboutin created and named after her but now she gets to go shopping with the man himself in Paris !
