I have too many shoes

This post has been scheduled for Sunday while I am recovering from a hangover following a 40th birthday celebration at many bars along Blackpool's golden mile. What could be better for a hangover cure than feasting my eyes on these lovely Louboutins available at Cricket.

This post has been long overdue . . . I'm still struggling with feeling creative, I seriously need something to revitalise my mojo for blogging.  For this post I kept thinking of a post title like Just a splash of red or they had me at hello but if I don't post something today, I could be still here pondering my thoughts and not placing them in print by my next birthday! Back in November, I celebrated my 40th birthday.  I must stress that I celebrated and did not commiserate my fourth decade of existence.  I spent a weekend in Liverpool where I enjoyed Tapas, shopping, cocktails, 80s retro bars (well really a strange basement bar, near the Cavern, where I got the chance to dance to Chesney Hawkes without derision) and reducing the multi-cultural divide with a number of people from the Scandinavia who were visiting for that weekend's Liverpool game.  Unfortunately at the point when three gentlemen fro...

The Liverpool Eye at Albert Dock How fast does time fly? I've just celebrated my second Wedding Anniversary.  Due to work commitments we didn't get chance to book a break this year, so we celebrated closer to home. After the wedding in Las Vegas and our first anniversary in Krakow, I can't really complain that my passport wasn't required for this trip!  We booked an overnight stay to Liverpool just over an hour's drive from Blackpool staying at the Premier Inn at the Albert Dock .  I'm lucky that we have two great cities (Manchester and Liverpool) just a drive away for a great night out and a city experience whether shopping is your preference or cool bars with an even cooler cocktail menu!  Both cities have undergone significant regeneration and they are definitely worth a visit if anyone is planning to come up North for a visit.
