Shoe of the week

Its just under 50 days till spring.  Do you think its too early to start thinking about sandals ?

Ready to Converse

My husband continues on his quest to ensure that I have sensible footwear for our New York trip.  He researched and found these converse bargains for me at Office, clicked and bought.  I have trained him well!

Start spreading the news . . .

I'm leaving today . . . Well in a couple of months I'll be visiting New York, the city that never sleeps, the home turf of Carrie Bradshaw. My husband has treated us both to a holiday to New York to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary, I feel so incredibly spoilt and lucky.  I'm not sure if I have ever blogged about this but there have been occasions when I have been that excited for a holiday that I've packed my case nearly three weeks before the event!  However, I am trying to remain calm and am currently writing lists and ideas on what to take for the trip - any suggestions would be great. My holiday wardrobe has already been a source of concern to my husband who mentioned that I had a lot of shoes but no winter coat.  While it is a reminder to lock up my shoe collection from prying eyes (just kidding), the lack of a current winter coat isn't because I have spending all my money on my shoe obsession, its just that I haven't found that perfect coat yet...

A litle bit of sparkle does you good

How hard is January,  you're back at work after the Christmas holidays . . .  its only weeks since Christmas Day and it feels like all work and no play. Rather than leave the sparkle and sequins behind with the boxed up Xmas decorations, I decided to sprinkle a little sparkle on my everyday work look with these lurex knee highs from Veneziana .

Shoe of the week

It's the start of a new year, the future's bright, so you gotta wear shoes.   These shoes from Kurt Geiger would be perfect to brighten up this dreary January.

Shoe of the week

My first shoe of the week 2014.  Despite the awful weather a girl can still wear heels, especially the Scotsburn from Aldo shoes.  With the rich Bordeaux colour and fabulous double buckles, these are perfect for a fashionable winter.

Naughty but nice

Despite the windy weather during Christmas, I couldn't resist wearing my new printed dress from New Look with my crazy Faith platform boots and a tuxedo jacket. Rather than accessorising with some boring sensible opaque tights, I chose these luxurious hold ups from Veneziana .  Gorgeous to wear, held up all night on Christmas Eve until it was time for the long, blustery walk home. cheeky

The Christmas Shoes

Image
I would love to say that I got some new shoes this Christmas, but after receiving a pair for my birthday in November and winning a pair from Schuh just before Christmas, I think I have had enough shoes for 2013!  My niece, however, is building up her shoe collection with these two Christmas additions - cute Topshop shoes and glittery Vans.
