I'm not sure what age I was, when I discovered my own style. It feels like it only happened in my thirties when I finally felt like I knew what suited me and what style I like. I had a fascination with shoes since I was around five and was bought a yellow pair of sandals that I virtually lived in (will have to dig out a photo to show you). But fashion then was limited with mostly handmade items and the high street didn't really cater for kids.
But now, our fashion-forward teens and tweens are finding that the high street is theirs for the taking and they are doing it in style. While we know what designer clothes Harper Seven, Suri Cruise and Romeo Beckham are wearing, its what the kids on the high street are wearing that's getting noticed. With high street stores like River Island and H & M providing clothing lines for the under 16's, the retail sector is finally realising that fashion starts young.
I spotted Miss Isla, a young fashionista in the making and under 10 years old, at a friend's party a couple of weeks ago wearing these fabulous red patent dr martens with the denim shorts (the standard item every girl should have in her wardrobe) and a cute white top. Simple, classic yet the perfect fashion statement for a cool kid on the high street. What are your cool kids wearing?

We are in the middle of a mini- heatwave in Blackpool, so its the perfect time to be thinking about autumn days, leaves falling and a winter wardrobe to take me from sipping hot chocolate in a cafe to brazing the cold to partake in a few cocktails.
These Nine West boots are the perfect remedy to brighten up those dull, dull winter months we have ahead of us.

The classic stiletto, simple yet so sexy. Searched for a hot pink pair after seeing Davina McCall rocking a fab pair of 'stillies' with a glorious neon outfit. Found these at Shoe Candy for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!

This week, I've chosen a bit of a naughty shoe which has been inspired by the recent casting news on the Fifty Shades of Grey film.
Carvela's Adriana Triple Ankle Strap Heels would definitely make Mr Grey loose his cool. A sexy shoe for a girl who wants to try walking on the wide side.
