I love a bit of oxblood I do! It's a great rich colour for autumn. This Camilla Skovgaard platform pumps would definitely warm up my winter wardrobe.

The Carrie Diaries is Candace Bushnell's prequel to Sex in the City. Its all about Carrie Bradshaw in her senior year in the 1980's. Its got the fashion and Carrie, but it won't have Miranda, Samantha or Charlotte. Well not at least till Carrie gets to college then New York and that's only if this pilot is successful enough to launch a series that will take Carrie and Co into the nineties. AnnaSophia Robb stars as the teen Carrie and based on the trailer the series has got the Carrie voiceovers and the lead actress has that distinctive hair and possible a wardrobe to die for. Its based on the book not the SATC series, produced by CW , it won't have nudity or swearing so its going to be very different from the SATC series and films. It looks like its been developed for a younger audience rather than SATC devotees, so it would be interesting to see how successful the pilot and subsequent series will be. If we've following the journey of Carrie and Big fro

My shoe of the week comes with a video clip this week. I love these Metallic Mary Janes from T.K maxx I love this style of shoe just as much as Carrie Bradshaw when she discovers a pair of Mary Janes in the Vogue closet.

I'm off to Liverpool this weekend to watch Deacon Blue, fingers crossed I take it easy with the red wine and don't destroy any shoes in the process! photo credit: Max/マックス via photopin cc

Brocade is a trend for Autumn/Winter. If you want to keep your nod to this trend simple, then its easy to do it with shoes. These gorgeous shoes from Not on the High Street might be the perfect solution to being 'on trend' this season. There really too pretty to wear.

Put on your red shoes and dance the blues . . .

My friend Sharon is looking for a pair of red shoes, so naturally this was the perfect excuse for me to find some shoes on the high street for her to consider. There are these peeptoes from Faith at Debenhams . . . Click here for more info Or perhaps a wedge heel? More info here and I love these courts! Available to buy here What about a classic court shoe from Office? More info here Now, you can't argue with a chunky heel . . . Available at Dorothy Perkins There's bargains to be had at Barretts . . . Just click here to buy, you know you want to What about a bit of sparkle ? How about some Vintage style or take a bow with these lovelies from Schuh You know you want to buy these And finally from Blink at Very, the perfect party shoe which reminds me of the Land of Oz . . . The Louboutins first day out

Image
Me and my lovely niece at the do I finally got to wear my Louboutins at a family wedding (will post more details later). I didn't find a green dress to wear with the shoes but I did find a great substitute dress from Dorothy Perkins that was good enough for the day. But the Louboutins, what can I say about these shoes? The highs They have to be the sexiest pair of shoes I have ever worn or owned. They are incredible high, yet surprisingly comfortable to wear. For the first time ever, I was the same high as my husband, no mean feat for a short-arse like me! They give you toe cleavage, which Mr Louboutin thinks is sexy (not everyone feels the same way about that little peek of toe). I wore them to church, posed for pictures and danced a tiny bit in them but took them off for the long walk down Blackpool North Pier - walking 1,650 feet down a wooden Victorian Pier is not for the faint-hearted and fashion-conscious. They are an amazing pair of shoes and there

Hello Facebookers!

I've just managed to create the badge link to my Facebook page after 30 minutes of researching You Tube videos and IT blogs. I know in reality it probably would take most people only about ten minutes but I feel I've run the equivalent of an IT marathon. So now, I'm going to sit back and relax with a cup of tea and a biscuit. Feel free to like my Facebook page, the link is on the left.

I've chosen Chloe Green's debut shoe collection for Topshop for this week's shoe . Each shoe will have her signature green sole and I like the colour palette she's chosen for the shoes. The collection's perfect for the Topshop customer: young, hip and high! The full collection can be seen here . Unfortunately this pair of shoes has already sold out! However if you follow Topshop via Facebook and Twitter you'll be able to find out when they are back in stock.

I am losing the will to live with technology. I am slowly rebuilding my ipod music collection after my recent IT failure but re-loading a lifetime of cds onto iTunes is taking me ages. While its an opportunity to cleanse my ipod library, I'm now struggling on whether its un-cool to upload Duran Duran's greatest hits or wondering if my ipod got nicked would my love of cheesy 90's pop ensure its quick return. My procrastination on deciding whether I need to make my ipod library collections cool and eclectic or just to store the music that makes me smile is making this job so much longer than is needed. photo credit: Fey Ilyas via photopin cc
